Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-09-29
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Srikrishnas Ventures LLC, d/b/a IACGenius, a Texas limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"), governing your use of the IaC Genius application and its related services (the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
The Service is offered to business and professional users. By using it you confirm you act in a business or professional capacity, not as a consumer, and that mandatory consumer withdrawal rights do not apply.
2. What the Service does
IaC Genius generates Infrastructure as Code. You describe the infrastructure you want, or start from a template, confirm a build sheet, and the Service generates code and records validation results. Checks can fail or be unavailable; generation does not guarantee a passing result. It supports AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, with Terraform and OpenTofu. Outputs can be downloaded, with GitHub delivery available when you connect a repository through the IaC Genius GitHub App.
The Service does not deploy infrastructure. It never runs terraform apply or tofu apply, never manages Terraform state, never accesses your cloud accounts, and never asks for your cloud credentials. It does not run Terraform Plan against your cloud account.
3. Plans and limits
The Service has two plans:
- Free: 5 validated generations per rolling 30-day window, at no charge and with no payment information required.
- Pro: 60 validated generations per rolling 30-day window, at $49 per month when available.
A single mission consumes one generation; a stack mission consumes three; refinements of an existing mission consume none. Allowance is measured over a rolling window, so it returns as older generations age out.
Availability of paid plans: Pro is not yet available to purchase. Billing is not configured, and no payment is collected today. These Terms describe the plan structure, but no Pro subscription contract exists until checkout is enabled and completes.
Abuse controls apply: sign-ups and sign-ins are rate-limited per IP address, and we may refuse or close accounts created to circumvent plan limits.
4. Accounts
- Sign-in methods shown in the app include email and password and configured social providers. Email/password accounts require email verification.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and any TOTP second factor secure, and for activity under your account.
- Organisation workspaces let members share missions and settings. A workspace owner is responsible for who is invited.
- You must provide accurate information and have authority to grant any access you ask us to use.
5. Nature of generated code; your responsibility
Generated code is produced by AI systems (see section 8) and passed through automated validation. Validation covers syntactic correctness and compliance with the policy rules the tools know about. It does not validate business logic, cost, your organisational policies, or fitness for your environment.
You are solely responsible for:
- reviewing, testing and validating all generated code before using it;
- running the plan in your own environment, reviewing it, and deciding whether to apply it;
- all deployment decisions and their consequences, including cloud costs;
- meeting your own security, compliance and regulatory requirements beyond the automated scans; and
- keeping credentials and secrets out of the Service — do not enter them.
Generated code is provided "as is", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Automated validation is not a warranty.
6. Payment
Billing is not configured today and no payment is taken. When paid plans become available, payment will be processed by a payment provider, prices will be shown in US dollars and may exclude taxes unless stated, and subscriptions will be month-to-month and cancellable at any time. Cancellation would take effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already billed would be non-refundable. This paragraph describes the intended structure and is not an offer.
7. Intellectual property
You own the code the Service generates for you, and may use, modify and exploit it. We retain ownership of the Service itself: our engine, templates, policy baselines, prompts, workflow and internal tools. We may reuse non-confidential patterns. Third- party components in generated code keep their own licences, and you are responsible for complying with them.
8. AI systems
The Service calls Microsoft Azure OpenAI to plan and generate code. The text you submit is sent to that provider as part of the request. No AI system is error-free, and outputs must be reviewed as described in section 5. You must not use the Service to build infrastructure for unlawful purposes, and you must ensure your use of the outputs complies with applicable law.
9. Data protection
We process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. The application and V2 account/workflow databases use US infrastructure; the generation engine and job artifacts use EU infrastructure. Additional service providers may process data elsewhere. The Privacy Policy describes providers, data categories and current retention practices.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- generate infrastructure for unlawful activity, including unauthorised access to third-party systems or cryptomining on compromised accounts;
- extract or reverse-engineer our prompts, templates, policy baselines or workflow;
- access the Service through automated means or circumvent rate limits and plan limits;
- create multiple accounts to bypass the Free allowance;
- attempt prompt injection, jailbreaking or similar manipulation of the AI systems; or
- impersonate another person or organisation.
Violation may result in suspension or termination without refund.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or abusive or unlawful use.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for cloud usage charges, third-party failures, data loss, security incidents after delivery, or indirect and consequential loss, including lost profits or downtime. Our total aggregate liability for claims arising from the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the month before the event giving rise to the claim, or $49. Claims must be brought within twelve months of the event.
Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are first addressed through good-faith negotiation, then mediation; if unresolved, the state and federal courts in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect for existing users 30 days after notice, and immediately for new users. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
